The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s is joining 5 local venues to host Week of Cocktails which runs from Monday September 13th to Friday September 17th.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and the Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation (MFOCF) is hosting 5 different night events ranging from Ft. Lauderdale to North Miami Beach.

The variety of social events are sponsored by 123 Lumpsum. All the events seek to raise awareness and donations.

Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation Partners With Local Wine Shoppe

The Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation is partnering up with Coral Gables based Wolfe’s Wine Shoppe for a benefit Vino night at Perricone’s Market Place & Café in Brickell on Friday September 10th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Brian and Lisa Tannebaum and The Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Miami Chapter along with the Miami-Dade Justice Association will be joining Wolfe’s Wine Shoppe for this benefit.

Vino Hollywood To Host Argentinian Winemaker

Vino Hollywood, located on Harrison Blvd. in Hollywood, will be hosting a complimentary wine tasting and meet and greet with Argentinian Vinomaker Miguel Salarich Tuesday September 14th starting at 07:00 p.m.

Guests will have the chance of tasting his Finca Malbec as well as his Acordeón Torrontés and Acordeón Malbec.

Salarich will sign bottles purchased on the evening of September 14th. Guests will be entered in a drawing for prizes.

Miami Dade College’s Wine Appreciation Class Starts Soon!

Want to take an affordable class on learning how to appreciate fine Vino? Why not join Miami Dade College’s Wine Appreciation Class…It starts Wednesday September 29th at 07:30 p.m. at the MDC Kendall Campus located on 11011 S.W. 104th St.

This six week study into fine wine appreciation will help you learn some tricks behind fine Vino and help you expand your palate and verbiage. Learn about the different grapes and look into how it is all put together. You must be 21 years or older to register.

Wine Down Miami Viceroy’s Club 50 Event A Total Success!

Wine Down Miami took over the refined and elegant Viceroy Hotel located on 485 Brickell Avenue this past Wednesday August 25th.

Miamians enjoyed the treats of wine consultant Michael
Green and Wine Down co-founder Andrew Levine, who gave the event a Mediterranean touch.

Guests enjoyed unlimited tastes of delicious and distinct wines from the Boutari portfolio and signature hors d’oeuvres from celebrity chef Michael Psilakis’ Mediterranean-inspired Eos restaurant.
