We all often wonder what vino to have with dinner. As I pondered on this decision not long ago, I thought hmm…How about an Italian red?

I went into my wine cooler and picked out this great Barbera D’Alba 2002.

After I opened it, I let it unwind for a little. Boy did it do well.
An amazing nose with a superb aroma. Reminded me of strawberries and plenty of dark fruit.
On the palate, it tasted quite delicious. Plenty of dark cherry, some cassis and a touch of chocolate.
It was quite an enjoyable experience. Will definitely try it again.
