Oregon Vino's Cubanisimo Vineyards Makes Miami Proud

Last year, while on a short visit to South Florida, Cubanisimo's founder and current owner Mauricio Collada (and his wife) sat down with me for some coffee.

It was a good conversation where he shared how with their 'dance with nature' they can extract top grape in Oregon.

They believe the '17 mix clones of Pinot Noir and Oregon clones of Italian Pinot Gris will do well.

They also expect that the Rosados '16 will be a fan favorite.

He describes himself a child of South Florida and solid, proud Cuban American who found his way to the West in love with wine.

Mauricio Collada has focused on vinicultural practices and strives to make the best Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. He has partnered from the onset with respected Oregon winemaker Rob Stuart.
